Anyone else having problems getting money out of them for warrant work done for them?

I keep getting promises after promises - 10 weeks after doing the work!

Never heard of them,

Most UK companies are on a 60 day payment, in other words they pay you
2 months after job completion.

They could be waiting until after April 9th or will settle it before the end of the finacial year.

Their written terms and conditions state 30 days. They keep moaning about a director leaving (who seems to be the only one who could sign cheques etc). They have moved premises twice in the last three months.
On thursday they said that chq in post and if not recd friday then to call them and give them my bank details and they will BACS it. No chq recd of course but I am not giving my bank details out over phone.

So if they do come knocking on other locksmith's doors offering warrant work, then at least you are a little forewarned!

Why are you worying about your bank details ? A bacs transfer only requires the sort code and account number and you also dont pay any bank charges unlike a cheque. If your that worried do a google and you will see many account and sort codes are available, its nothing to worry about. I actually prefer it as its quicker and saves me time and money wether paying a bill or receiving money

my main worry was giving those details to a company that keeps breaking promise after promise, always moving premises etc.

Thanks for the reassurance about the safety of BACS though.
