Question on a Master 10 L-25..

Postby WDPaladin » 30 Mar 2006 23:57

Ok I got a bag of locks off Ebay and am satisfied with the variety- almost too much variety! My webcam is not good enough to take an accurate picture of this lock, but has anyone seen or heard of a Master Lock 10? Ive opened 5s, 3s, ect., but this one doesnt look like a pin tumbler. There is a loose, movable shell over the key area that rotates without a key and Ive felt around with a feeler, but cant find any pins. Is it some kind of wafter lock or something? Anyway, Im just looking for some help opening this bugger, thanks for any help in advance.
Master Lock No. 10 [and on the other side of the lock it says] L-25.

Edit- Also, this might help. The opening in the "shell" blocking the keyway is shaped like a dumbell..

You need to make yourself some warded padlock picks. A good template can be found in this thread.

To use?
Insert, turn, lock is open.
