Lever Picks , which to buy ?!

Postby Sindbadd » 31 Mar 2006 4:47

Hello!

I am looking forward to play with padlocks or locks which require lever picks, but I'm not sure which lockpicks are good for it. I saw this offer on the multi-pick serivce in Germany :

http://www.multipick-service.cc/htdocs/ ... perrhaken/

I am not sure what is the difference between SET "K" or SET "O" , which one is mostly used in old padlocks or old locks in warded doors etc. ?

If i buy both sets is it most often that i will open most locks ? Or do i have to have some special skills to play with them ?

Thanks and regards

I think you should read about how they work first. I didn't buy them yet but as they are skeleton keys they should work fine on most locks of that kind. I think they may require a little practice but it shouldn't be hard.

if you are talking about picking locks such as the 5 lever insurance approved padlocks, such as chubb cruiser and chubb battleship locks , then the 2 in 1 picks sold by rb locktools are about the best at £53 each
