Help With A Russwin Lock

Hey everyone!
I'm having some trouble with a couple locks and was wondering if anyone here could help me identify it. It's a Russwin lock, but I'm not sure what kind. Can anyone identify it by the keyway? Thanks.

it is the russwin RA keyway, and that is all ican tell you about the lock....

Did you use a ruler to mark the line before you cut the wood around the door :lol:

The top one looks like a mirror of the yales over here.

They're locks on my Dad's property. He lost the keys to em and I've been experiment with key bumping, told him I could give it a try. Just trying to find out what kind of key blank I should buy.

Chances are that a lock that's been out in the elements is going to be challenging for all the wrong reasons. Go ahead and mess with it if you want (you did say it was legit) but if it's all crusty it won't teach you much about picking, or bumping for that matter.

The bottom one looks defintely like a Sargent odd-ball (old) commercial keyway. Heck, it even says "SARGENT" if you look closely. And the plate behind it looks like part of an exit device. Does you dad's property have doors with panic bars?

The Russwin lock most likley uses an ILCO A1011P keyblank, the Sargent looks like a restricted keyway as the bottom grooving is the opposite of the standard keyways.

When I view the keyway I can not get the second groove fron the bottom to line up with any of the R keyways, also the top section of the lock photo has the ridges on the opposite side of the R keyways I have listed.
