I suppose it's worth pointing out that that guy had a ton of off-camera time to swap cylinders, if he wanted. Not that I personally question him, but now I'm thinking of getting a second medeco and setting up a similar video, except only using one pin on my picking lock

That's Zeke79 picking it.
I personaly believe him, but it's possible the lock may have been switched.
I see it was uploaded by Motorhead - I seem to remember that cretin got banned on LP101 if it's the same guy.

There was no swapping done and I accept the challenge to pick the lock in front of anyone. The lock was picked, and disassembled to prove the sidebar was installed.

If anyone wants to get some attention who can pick a Medeco ,leave me some contact info and I will get you in touch with a Head Medeco Rep. from Salem Va. ,perhaps some of you have heard about the contest that was offered at one point that if you picked the lock open you got a box of cash, just wondering if anyone thought of going to an ALOA convention ,ya know proving the big wigs wrong.
If it werent for the paranoid and the dillusional I'd be out of work............

i guess it comes down to a question of trust and integrity
in this age of digital video editing there will always be doubters
i think the only thing that Zeke79 could have done more
was maybe do a closeup on the medeco pins ( no offense, Zeke )
no lock is unpickable
medecos get picked every day

I have cutaway somewhere, and i have picked it a couple of times. Zeke79 did the same thing, but just did it with his eyes closed.

Thanks PIP and LockNewbie. If the question of the videos authenticity continues then I may just have to have my wife shoot a new video of me picking the biaxial........... With a banana .
I could always do that, but I would feel kind of bad for one upping digital_blue .

Whould that be a large box of pennies or a small box of $100.00 bills??
Seriously nice pick Zeke, it is always inspiring to watch a skilled person do something that I was told was not possible. ( by the Medico rep.)

I'm sure the medeco rep. is not allowed to have an opinion on whether medeco locks are pickable or not.

I didn't say I personally didn't believe in it! Just that, hypothetically, there's a flaw there. Maybe I'm just too security minded Knowing it's Zeke though certainly gives it credibility. I will say, I wish he'd focused more on the picks themselves and talked about what's going on, but I guess the intent wasn't to teach but to show off ;P

Either way it was a fine display of picking technique. I took notice into the movements of his pick hand, the the movments were from my examination very refined, meaning he did have practice probobly alot of it, but also he had a thorough understanding of what he was actually doing unlike me i just stick in the pick and pick like i was picking my nose. But Zeke, if you have the time make anther video, i am getting no where with my biaxle except for the one time i picked it by luck.
