Ball picks

Ok, so I've been trying to use a ball pick for a while now...from what I have gathered, it works on wafer locks, and to use it one does a raking motion?...is a ball pick more effective than a snake rake? any info on ball picks will help...also, how does it compare to an elliptical ball pick...etc.

The shape of the pick is one factor in opening a lock the other is the motion of your hand. It is how the two come together that makes or breaks it. Practice with a variety of picks, because a pick that is most closely matches the key profile for that lock you are working on should open it the easiest.
