oh,i should tell you that this kind of locks is too easily for me to open it.i can open it within 30 second. there are several ways to do it. for example, hammer the lock. also open it with the sharp-angled pontil which is thin.

got a question... what are security pins? are they what make the locking mechanism jam when you apply tension? the pick proofing mechanism?

because im having problems with 2 locks i have at home...they both happen to have manufacturers logo engraved into it (like ABUS or YALE or in my case, SQUIRE) but the ones with no logo are opened no probls... i can open my money box with scissors or my pen knife!

also, its great having an engineer in the family :P lost my tension wrench...he's going to get some steel so i can make another one...

ABUS series was the firts lock i've pick.
they're easy (less than 30s) they have no security pin, and are good lock for beginer.ABUS are the most used where i come from.
