What is the hardest lock that you picked?

Incase no one guess, I was kidding about the protec. I would say the toughest so far would be a Best 6 pin SFIC mortise, and I've only been able to do it once

i want to see someone pick an american 5200, i have tried and tried, but never any luck, i cannot try the same lock for hours and hours, im not that patient, if i cant get it in like 10-15 minutes, im not opening it

That's kind of a hard question to answer - most recently I would have to say it was this tiny brinks padlock with security pins. I picked it finally and didn't touch it for a while. I decided to try it again later, and switched up my attack - I.E. shallower hook pick, and modified tension wrench. It opened in seconds. I find that to be the case often with locks that initially seem tough - once you defeat them for the first time, they get a whole lot less challenging. must be a confidence thing I guess.

the hardest lock i picked so far was a best padlock. i didnt no you could pick medeco biaxial i mean i thought you had to be really good and have special home made picks and i wont ask for any one to show me. but i have to go get one now.

a 6 or 7 pin best cylinder at work, in 3 seconds!!

after that, i could never do it again,,, pure luck

Yale 6 pin (2 spools)

I can pick it but sometimes it can be a pain.

Magnum lock.. i had no idea what was wrong with it.. it had pins, but it wasn't like a normal lock, pins wouldn't stay up, tension was off like crazy.

I picked two Kaba Quattro's (keyed differently). One almost brand new and not MK'd. Took about 20 hours if I recall (no - I didn't do it all in one go

Can you guys who claim to be picking Medeco really do them, I mean reliably? or is it just the occasional one.

i can pick them fairly reliably.

i have picked 3 diferently keyed 51s's in ~30 mins.
