Question : upvolting the southoord automatic gun

Postby twista_in_a_lock » 14 Apr 2006 16:49

Hi all,
This question to electronic experts.
I want to buy a southord automatic gun.
I prefer 3v (with two batteries) model to have a compact gun.
i know 4.5 is stronger than 3v.
Is it possible to upgrade to a 4.5 with 3 AAA batteries instead of the 2 original one.
Having more power even with weaker intensity? same motor than 4.5 ? or weaker ?
help me please.

No if oyu put more batteries on you will have more power but blow the engine faster.

Just like locknewbie said, it will wear out the parts faster.
The gun was engineered to the tolerances that would last longer with few problems.
Not to be taken apart and blasted with an extra 1.5 volts. Besides using the AAA batteries would be a short life cycle.
