My first picks!

Aye, got my 9 piece set through the door yesterday i was looking round the house all day for a lock to pick, the only one i could find was my trelock RS400 see it here > http://www.bonthronebikes.co.uk/404-18966

did'nt want to pick it at first as my first lock (bit intimidated) but it was all i had

I first tried with the ball pick then raked it
within 5 minutes it was picked

and again 30 seconds later

what the?

expensive lock what a pile of c**p

it is a wafer lock and the key is about the size of an old ford key

Those piles of um... feces (or at least that model, under the brand AXA) are used in holland for the majority of the new bicycles.

I did one of these using rubbish I found on the floor at the time. I remember using a piece of broken plastic beverage holder as a tensioner, and a piece of lolipop stick for the pick.. talk about McGuyver lol.

If you wanna talk about make shift pics, go to google video and search for "banana pick" now thats some serious make shift picking lol

And yes, the feeling of your hand swinging the lock round for the first time is one to remember

nice pictures. Has anyone heard of a dragon wrench? it has the capabilities to be used on nearly EVERY lock, and it is easy to make. I will try to find a picture of it. But again, nice pics. They explain locks very well.
