Well done to Atrix for picking an 8 pin dimple lock. However, to the people who are amazed by this, I say it's not that remarkable. A lot of these locks have really poor tolerances and for a horizontal keyway lock there's only a short travel on each pin, so sometimes just shoving the pick in is enough to pick it. I very much doubt any individual pin manipulation was required for this padlock. But please correct me if I'm wrong!
Shameless plugging removed
Have you considered putting together a list of Russian lock words in English? It could be quite useful since I'm sure there's lots English-speaking people like me do not know about Russian locks and patents. I have a bit of a fascination for locks from Russia because they are rare in the UK and there is a mytique about them
