there was a post a wile back about this type of spanner wrench u can make.
it is just hooks on the notch on the plug and gripps the othe side of the plug. it acts as a tention wrench when u pick the pins one by one. kind of dificult but it seems to work, mind u that anti-drill bearing in the middle might hamper things.

Well i can tell you what wont work, i just picked up a tubular lock like that myself. I have been trying to pick it on and off for a little while. It seems i can get decent tension with a regular wrench inside the grove but for some reason i could never get all the pins to catch.

Well i guess it just a matter of experimenting, remember to expect to pick it from 2-4 times before it opens from pins reseting every so many degrees. I have heard that you can use some kind of hardening compound to impression the lock after you picked it before the pins reset i have never tired it good luck bud.

I was trying to find this thread and can't. If it's the one I thinking of I even posted in it. Here's a picture of one you can make or order:

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h106/barrproductions/tubular-tensio.jpg

It has a couple of warded picks on the ends but the middle of the tool is for tubular locks. One gap is 1/4'' and the other 3/16". Or you can grind down an allen wrench to fit in the notch, it needs to fit tight, or you can order the above wrench from Ideal Creations.

Like LockNewbie21 said if you single pick this lock you may need to do it several times to get it open. When the pins hit the next set of holes and doesn’t open it will need to be picked again.

I have used a couple of different types of picks but found a normal tension wrench make a good pick with the above tension wrench for tension.

So I'm willing to bet that if ya just resized the photo until the top gap was 1/4" it would be the correct size.

I have not tried to make one of these yet I need a better material than the only hacksaw blades I have access to. They have no real spring to them and just bend. But I plan on fabricating one as soon as I find a more suitable material.
If all else fails, change your syntax and search again.
