looks like the the old chubb 3G114 , beautifull lock, brass curtain and superb lever to prevent impressioning. though still picks on pin and cam with old pins.

if as i suspect, though photo is blured and dark, if the old chubb keyhole id isnt hard,
silver hammerite case, full oval cut out and distinctive brass curtain gives it away .

thats what i thought it was replaced it with a new 114, what is it like picking with a curtain pick just the same as the newer ones?

yes mate

though that monitor lever makes a plastercine reading a bugger if the old one, strip it down its a gorgeous piece of work, nice lock to have in collection.

I find the older levers an easier straight pick than the new levers. The new levers are easier than the E levers.

This lock was only sold with one piece of hardplate, you fitted it to the external side when installing the lock.
Of course people didn't :roll:

Wow, you UK guys are great!!! I looked at that and went DURRRR... I have no Idea. I need to start looking to Lever locks alot more these days :wink: .

i will post some mor pics of the of inside of the lock.
al when you said only supplied with 1 hard plate you were correct as i was wondering why it was only on one side, its held in place with 2 little plastic grub screws.
