I didn't mean to sound snippy before, but that is indeed how a pickgun works.

What you want to ask is "how do I use a pickgun"?

goto this thread: viewtopic.php?t=588 and download the H2k2 video at the bottom, it is a great beginning video and visually demonstrates the principals behind a pickgun.

it's kind of hard to describe, but the video explains it like in pool. imagine two poolballs touching each other, no matter how hard you hit the first ball with the cueball, it won't move, the second ball in line will shoot up though. that's what a pickgun does, hits all those bottom pins at the same time hard... the bottom pins dont move, the top pins shoot up, in that split second you can use your tension wrench to turn the cylinder. not only did that explanation not make any sense probably... but also, keep in mind pickguns dont work on all locks.
