We all know splinter cell right? that cool game where you pick this shot that hack this and lets kids think hey man i'm bored lets go break into the pentagon!!!!!!... well yup you guessed tom clancey is making a Movie title.. yup you guessed it again "splinter Cell". I foudn this out by trying to find out when the next game is coming out.. so get ready, i can jsut see the suddun influx of kiddies straight from the theater right to lp101 HEY!! I NEED TO LEARN TO PICK LOCKS!!! (while inside there heads saying) i'll show jimmy i will open his locker and take his super secret soda for lunch. I did a demo in schoolsenior year, on lock picking but mostly security for a final project in my tech class and quickly picked a lock being as vauge as possible, ( it was a one pin kwickset i just messed around not tryin to give any ideas out and didnt use a tension wrench. But anywho, i ws by no means Mr. Popularity in high school i sat with 3 other chums at lunch well needless to say my table filled quickly and everybody wanted to learn what i did, i never really did say anyhting becuase i knew just a little, And yes splinter cell, james bond, gone in 60 seconds and any movie or game you could thnk of, i was asked to help them pick like they do there.

I am going to do a more indepth presentation for a college class, i wonder if the same thing will happen?

Anyways get ready, i ws thinking just starting a thread called "Learn to Pick like the guy in Splinter Cell movie here!!!!"

Yea i'm bored before work so it hought iw ould put somehting up to discuss or bash which ever you prefer, i gotta get going though work is calling my name

Later guys, newbie

<3 Splinter Cell games.

Anyone played Elder Scrolls Oblivion on the PC or Xbox360? Same thing, if you're a thief class character you get lockpicks and have to move up each pin individually, they actually did a neat job.

Downside is when you fail on a pin, it breaks your pick. =O Glad that's not reality.

Na havent seen it, i'm not big of a computer buff, but splinter cell was cool because since i was a kid i visited my uncle at NASA with all the real CIA dudes watching you, kinda freeky stuff they watch like they know something, and you can imgine there listening to everything oyu say with some uber cool device, i would have never even known they were CIA till my uncle said they were.. this was around 911 so security was nuts, but yea i play those kinda games every once in a while, but the sad thing is they really just go for ratings and not reality becuase like in splinter cell the security is completely diffrent in Nasa, just about every square foot is covered with either laser or IR alarm detenation, and really you would have to be pretty ballzy to pull anything liek those video games in real life, having my uncle walk us into the base were he was going to show us there latest satelite.. Swift was the name, it measured gama rays in other solar systems to see when new planets stars and moons are created any way with him leading use in, and mind you a normal family two special forces men dressed in full uniform with full auto's saw us to the door, also, when we took the tour, my uncle had to prearange it for after the day was over, so some security was lifted, we had about a 3 foot wide path to which was our tour path if i did step off, trip anything the place would be on full lock down and light up like a christmas tree and i dont even want ot know what the hell kinds of people they would be sending in to secure things and if i was bad what they would do to me. This is not a poppy _ story next time i go for a visit, if its even permitted i will take some pics, but thats how security is in real life, there are no splinter ce... i mean cladestine) the real cia term, people who would be able to infultrate these facilities, the shear complexity of the grids the lights the heat motion and any other form of dtection plus cameras every where, armed gaurds that are issued the right of lethal force if need be, its not even plausable to start to think splinter cell or any of these little sneeky fellows with cool toys can do it in real life. With that said i am curious to see jsut how real they try and make this video, i have seen the real deal with my own eyes, and there is no way one human no matte what nifty toys he has will ever get in, maybe a nuke in his back pack.. but then he wouldnt really get in.

TOWCH i totally agree, and its only avaiable to the goverment to top security techs. I can only wonder what types of goodies they have. i mean never mind the bypass or beathing them, just to have a look at the tip top goodies that the public can see, lol not considering what the aliens gave us at rosewell  but it would be great just to have a look. I am sure movie would be laughed at if peopl ehad a gander at some of the stuff. Well i am glad nobody flamed this thread, i deffinatly had the ability to do so, ahh heck i was bored before work. I know there were threads on this, i cant even recall if anyone in here had a look at it to be able to tell us just basics of whats in it with perhaps an example or two can anybody out there give an example? Anybody? (taps Microphone) anybody?....

:?
