BEST padlock tension tool

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

i have a 7 pin best pad lock i found. i want to make a torque wrench for the i core could any one tell the spacing and depth of the cuts i have to make. if theres already a post could you tell me where to find it.

thank you when i got no replies i thought i worded it wrong. how do i search this site i dont see a search box. do you just pick what catagory it might be in and look threw the the post? and did i post this question in the wrong place?

It's hard to say where this post would fall, because you are talking about making tools, and that's usually dicussed in "Lockpicks - Manual", but you are talking about opening the lock, which would be this category. As long as you use a little common sense, no one will care.

The search function is towards the top of the page, right under the title "Lock Picking 101". It's extremely useful as almost every question that you can think of has already been asked, from picking spools, to making picks from hacksaw blades.

i like the american series 5200+ they are impossible for me to pick, i just dont have the patience, i know they are pickable, and they are not very expensive so their my choice
