I don't have one, and have never had the opportunity to check one out up close and personal, but I did find the following information:

Detex locks appear to be basic mortise cylinders that fit into a contraption that allows free passage only if you have a disable key or if you trigger the alarm.
The ECL-600 (from the above link) and others seems to use a 5-pin cylinder, but can accomodate a 6 or 7 pin cylinder if necessary. As near as I can tell they all use a standard Yale cam.
