My Bogota review.

I've had my Bogeta pick for a while and they are by far my faves to work with.

And they're nice and compact so can carry a set with me at all times.

The finishing on these tools are phenominal!! It's almost impossible to find workmanship like this anymore.

I think everyone should have AT LEAST one set of these in their toolbox.

do they come in the original bogota "special pick case " as i received mine

Mite try making a Bogeta Rake before i go of to Hoildays on Sunday I'll save some of those pictures on my Psp and take it to the shed and try make some.

They look very clean and shiny What do you use the circlip for so it can stay together to be used on double sided wafer lcosk ro something?

I would have to say i'm kind of curious how comfortable the handles are.... I am used to the good old fashioned straight handle picks.

I have a bogota rake with the ergonomic handle (seen here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v47/MadMick/Bogota4.jpg), I hope the author doesn't care I used his picture.

I love the feel of the ergonomic handle, I used it more then the regular handle ones, actuall, I don't use the regular ones at all yet, I just use the ergo-Bogota and a twist flex tensioner, works beautifully.

Hey blink, no one's yet posted a photo of the ergo handle being held in the fingers. A lot of people put their first finger in the loop, proving that they just don't get it. Its designed to put the tip of the second (bird) finger in the loop only about to the first joint, then grip the shaft with thumb and forfinger behind the twist. Perhaps someone would make that photo, and locknewbie could make photos of his new handles the way he holds them. :wink:

Wow I thought it was only myself with the affinity for having my tools in pink - it prevented my stuff from getting ripped off at work (I worked with a bunch of macho manly-men. Afraid of pink) and it was great for visibility.

The handles do look awesome - I'm still working on a bogota rake, don't think I have it yet, they are looking more and more like the ones posted - gone through alot of metal.
