Cheap padlock from local store

I got a cheap padlock from a local store. It has rubber around the bottom somewhat like this but without the name brand http://ace.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pACE-990700reg.jpg
I can't pick it. Im new to picking and can do a master #3 in maybe 2 seconds but thats an easy lock I hear. Does anyone know about cheap grocery store locks?

It's just a game of chance until you get a feel for it. I find cheap locks are easier, but we've seen some locks that are so cheap that it's a wonder the key will open them.

Just keep on truckin'. Maybe a dab of oil will do ya. Disassemble it if you can.

if you can do a master you can do these they have the same m1 key way i think... but still its a for pin laminated lock, it may be hard to pick becuase its cheap i have a mountain security, jsut a heap of crap its actaully really hard to pick.

Thanks guys. I took it last night and listened for the clicks. Turns out I was letting up on the tension too much and pins were reseting. Eventually got it in about 10 mins. Can get it in around 30 seconds on a good try now.

Is the drilling on your Mountain Security lock really off?
I bought one of those Brass Mountain Security locks for like 3 bucks and change, and the drilling of the chambers is so off it makes it kinda hard to pick. The binding order is all over the place, and there are 5 pins in it.
I still don't have a lot of trouble opening it, but it takes more tension than I'm used to having to use.
