Hi, I have had a lockpick set for about three years now, and I just got around to giving it a try. It is an old used set from a bicycle shop I helped clean out (did you all know that most bicycle shops were also the local locksmith years ago?). I understand the basics of how locks work, and hope to pick up some pointers here. Lockpicking is going to be a hobby for now, but I can retire from my current job in about 5 years, then who knows what I will do to keep busy..

Hello, I'm from Ontaio, Canada. I've looked at this site for awhile now, but never registered. I used to pick basic locks back in public school, with paper clips and math tools, and enjoyed it alot. I'm wanting to get a pick set and get back to picking locks, legally.

Hey guys, whats up...

Man, it feels like ages since ive been on here. Im not a new member, just a really old one Some of you may remember me, most of you will not.
I used to be a frequent poster here, then i sorta just disappeared...
i had so much going on in my life such as college, and work that i rarely had time to lockpick, much less get online. But now ive found ways to manage my time, and ive actually got free some time!
The other day i was cleaning around my dorm and came across my old set of picks, i looked for a lock and started playing around with it. Man it felt like old times...and now ive decided to get back into it!
So your probably going to be seeing much more of me.

After being away from it for over a year, im a bit rusty in my skills and my knowledge, so dont be too surprised if im not quite as up-to-date as Varjeal
Well thats all ive got to say really... i hope to be able to help out people whenever possible, and look foward to others helping me.

New to, picking and the site.
I've been reading LP101 for about 2 months now, made a set of picks, picked a few locks ect....

Work security in a large factory and have access to a huge array of locks as well as fabrication equipment and material. This also comes with an excess amount of time to kill so now i have a new hoby.

Lol hey guys, its me Pickety. Ive found my really old name, this is the one ill be using, not pickety.

A little about me first off. I was introduced to lock picking/by-passing through the military. I am a member of the US Army Bomb Squad (EOD). From time to time we are required to search areas looking for devices, locked doors are no excuse for not searching and destroying a door to find you have an empty room can be hard to explain and make civilians very mad. My unit decided we needed to be traind in this skill. I have been picking locks, mostly pad locks and the occasional door, for about 2 years now.

I found this site about a month ago and finaly registerd a couple of weeks ago. It is my goal to come her and learn as much as I can from the fellow members and maybe, if I'm lucky, be able to pass on a some small bit of knowledge I have.
