Hi grum. Are you retired? What do/did you do?

Hi devildog,
Retired?....I wish.
Nah, still working (can't do much else - married, two kids, mortgage etc!!).
I work for for a mutlinational engineering, construction company as a proposals coordinator, putting bids and tenders together. The estimaters do the pricing and I pull in/write the rest of the info required, such as quality assurance, heath, safety and environmental, planning, project control systems info. Gets a bit frenetic at times but it pays the bills.......
Always wanted to know about the mechanics of locks how to pick them, but never really had a proper dig round. I found this site and am amazed at the amount of info on it.
I've got quite a bit to get to grips with....
Cheers

Thought I'd say howdy to y'all. I'm new to lockpicking but have been really enjoying the challenge. This site is invaluable and a fine way to spend a few hours learning something useful. See you around.
Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said couldn't be done.

Welcome everyone, have a look at the FAQ's then the MIT guide then Digital Blues guide to lockpicking,
Use the search button on the top of the screen to look for answers first before posting and if you cant be bothered you will just be told to do that on your first post, if youve looked and cant fid then fair enough.
Read all the stickies and then just sit down and read the entrie site to learn just about anything about lockpicking,
If your after a fast and easy way to pick then there isnt one, it takes lots of pratise and proply made tools to do it efficently and damage free.
Welcome and have fun.
