Is it just me, or do the single-sided Falle Safe picks have handles that are too long? I ground one out of a hacksaw blade that fits the template (found elsewhere here) prefectly but it seems like the handle is too long by about 3/4". Maybe my technique just sucks.

Other than that, those are definitely some sexy picks.

They sell to non-lockies? I thought this was against Falle's policy altogether, or does he distinguish run-of-the-mill from his highly specialized decoders by now?
Due to financial limitations the light at the end of tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

Devildog, yes i do need to play with them a lot more but i have de-burred them except the pip that was on the one i pictured, the others were fully de-burred and all the pips removed.

As for SV selling to no lockies? well a pick set is a pick set i guess, they are in the business of making money afterall, whether a non lockie would be able to buy the decoders from them or not remains to be seen but i think it is considered that a good hobby picker that is after Falle tools is not going to be running around stealing things.

Ps, Devildog, you have a condition we call rusty fingers in the engineering trade, everything you touch rusts due to the acid in your fingers, its a pain when someone has such an affliction and usually means they dont stay in engineering for too long, i can play with things like picks all day long and they never tarnish no matter how long they are left. the easy way around it is to rub in some barrier cream on your hands or give the picks a light spray of areosol laquer.

For the record, I got my Falle's from SV like almost everyone else here. I too cannot say enough good about dealing with them. They were very responsive to questions and very fast to ship. I ordered them, and they were at my door in a week or less. Pretty good considering I'm on different continent.
