Im not sure if this should go in this part of the forum, but here I go.

My question is, are there any tutorials of how to exactly shape the tips of the torque wrench, and from which side of the wrench. I know you taper it according to the lock, but any help with that would be great. Also, how exactly do I put the wrench into the plug? I have different ideas, but as I have been picking locks, i find that if i actually pull the plug (at the opposite end from the pins) by the tip of the torque wrench. I have trouble turning the plug when i actually insert the wrench into the plug. Any suggestions? I know this isn't very clear, i jus cant think of how to say it.haha...If you need me to elaborate a little more, I will. Please help!:S

look for a place that sells lockpicks and look at the tip designs. Then, try to replicate the tip on a hacksaw blade. Use a dremel tool or a coarse file. good luck.

You're going to have to elaborate a tad more.

With tension wrenches, you want to make sure they 1. fit snugly in the keyway and 2. allow you to control the plug. Anything else is a matter of personal preference.

If the standar "L" shaped wrenches are giving you a hard time, you might want to look into some alternatives. Search around the forums and you'll find LOADS of info both commercial and homemade tension wrenches. Good luck to you, and welcome to the forums.
