If your finding Kwikkies hard to work in, could you provide details about your picking style? You should find these locks give you more room than you deserve. You probably could improve a few bits of your style, probably tension wrench use.

I like useing both. Maybe I should make one of thoes DeForest style Dimond on a hook picks.

lol.. ok i'll take ur word but it just seems that the ain't enough room hardly for my pic to get under the ward to push the first pin it is really hard! or am i just dumb in the way i'm trying?

duke, you sure you know where the pins are?

your pick doesn't have to be straight up and down, you can put it into the slanted ward, and still hit the top of the pins and push them all the way down eventually (if they need to go all the way down to get set)
