I've done something really stupid today and locked my car keys in. It is a Rover metro reg. K. and i gave no idea how to get to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In your duplicate post you say you arn't experianced with picking locks, and it isnt something you can do well/consistently or at all for some locks, without practice. call a locksmith or possibly towing company. Matt

I took care of the duplicate post.

My best advice would be to call a locksmith or see if the police will open your car for you. I wouldn't advise starting to pick locks on a car

I'm guessing from the words "K reg" that you're from the UK. Don't call the Police, they're busy enough over here making sure the speed cameras work :x

They will not unlock your car for you - they'll just tell you to call the AA (if you're a member or call a locksmith).

Don't start playing around with car opening until you know what you're doing and have the proper tools to minimise the risk of damage.

It's cheaper in the long run to call a local locksmith (make sure you have proof of ID - I always ask for this on car openings).
sledgehammers make excellent back up picks!
