I'm just about to have a go at picking having found a door in a skip. Anyone know the model of the cylinder? Any tips on picking?

from the tiny picture, looks like a good lock, ya ought to impression a key and put it to use on yer door. Also, impressioning a key is the final answer to opening a lock that resists picking. Impressioning is as near a certain opening as possible, and doesn't take very long when ya get it down.

These locks have two hardened steel pins and four standard, the bottom of the steel pins often have a tiny burr which leaves a mark all along your blank when impressioning. Sometimes this makes it a nightmare.
