For a padlock this is a tough pick. Does not rake or scrub no matter what you do. The spool pins false set and then backing off on tension from there is a real talent as you will drop any set pins if you back off too much.
Get yourself or make a feather lite tension wrench and it becomes easier. Once you get the fell for the proper tension it is fairly standard.
This lock is used by the Canadian Coast Guard when they have need of padlocks. Wonder if it lends well to saltwater exposure?
It's brass, and there's nothing special about the shackle (isn't rust proof). The Canadian Coast Guard should be using something with a weather guard at least.
this padlock is a to pick its the only one i got that is almost unpickable.. ive opened it once with my electric klom gun with hours of testing..... lol today im doing a cutaway of this with my new dremel
