Looks like it should be in a high-security cell:

It says it fits any door. But I can think of half a dozen that wouldn't be able to support it. I don't think it has pins as it looks to be a really hardcore lever lock.

I would have to say it would be either to a vault or prison cell, being that my family work as guards in a prison it looks awfully familiar...LoL.

From the outside of the cell of course.

With the exuberant shipping cost of $99 local $199 international, this guy is a real scam artist. eBay fee avoidance at its best. One could ship this lock in a flat-rate box for under $20 even if it weighed 50 pounds.

I'm sure there are better double-bitted lever locks out there.

Also, it's never good when a lock that's keyed on both sides has exposed screws. I know many do (probably most), but it _is_ bad design.

Yeah, most manufacturers of these make both mortise and rim locks.

I have a similar lock, a cisa 57110 that I mounted to my display board. There is a link to it somewhere in the breakdowns thread.

It's nothing special. Hundreds of other Italian, spanish, south american brands just like this one.

Ive just got back from italy and i saw lots of these types of locks on a lot of places. Most were cisa cylinders but lots of these double bitted lever locks on everything from gates to front doors. Quite a few including some i saw in our hotel have bolts that go vertically as well similar to mul t lock locks. and your not going to bump one of these.

A lot of places eh? This only further supports my idea (not that this is a surprise to anyone who knows about locks) that locks all over the world, with the exception of Japan, beat common US locks in terms of security. Perhaps the criminals are more sophisticated too. What looks like a jail lock to most Americans is merely commonplace in many countries.
