No worries, I just emailed him a link.
He says there are now 8 volumes in the Locksmith version (presumably including the Harry Sher DAME discs), soon to be ten... not six

I bought my copy last month from amazon.com and it only came with the two volumes and the lss+ previw package. Where can you see the number of your copy?

You should have gotten a certificate with it.

I too have the locksmiths set of LSS+ bought from the briefcase of Mr Tobias. If you can afford it, I would recommend buying this over the dead tree version. The reason is that the amount of information and particularly the video's is staggaring. It also comes with a complete digital version of the dead tree tome, but in a much lighter format.
The folio software is the only pain, but when you look at the amount of value in the tome, it's worth playing in the rules and tolerating it.

I have been getting sucked into the LSS vortex... must not stop reading!!! I carry it with me (one volume at a time) and read whenever possible - then put into practice what I can. I have learned more here in less time than I thought I could know. I will be getting the Locksmith version soon enough. Being a slow reader (I wnt to the eblinwood sped reddin course, now i could red wit gret sped...Cheech & Chong) doesn't help me but once I do understand what is going on, I tend to remember it very well. I have been most impressed by Mr. Tobias book.

No collection is complete without the _original_ Locks, Safes & Security published by Tobias in 1971. It's still an amazing read, and complete with 70's style photos and illustrations. A true keep-sake.
