Its like going to the pound shop and buying somthing for £3

Here in Texas (US) we have 99 cent stores where the things they sell are indeed 99 cents plus applicable state sales tax.

However, the Dollar stores such as (Dollar Store, Family Dollar and Dollar General) sell things starting at a Dollar and increase depending on what it is.

What was the name of the dollar store this lock was purchased from? I'm wondering if we have any locally in the states.

This was just purchased from a mom and pop dollar store, out here in Nova Scotia. They don't seem to be any part of a larger chain.

If you really want one raccoon, then we could arange a trade or something. (That is, if you really want one, they aren't all that great, but they'd make a cool cut away.)

Rubbish camera!

The discs above are from the Silverline lock, and the ones below , showed in comparison are from an Abus Plus padlock.

Image

The purpose is somewhat spoilt since you can't see that the false notches of the Abus discs are just slightly lowered bumps that feel very similar to a true gate. I really need to either find a way to get my camera to focuss or buy a new one soon.

Illusion, if it's not too much trouble I'd love to see some photos of the discs.
Also, how did you take the lock apart?

You know sometimes you make a good job of a cut-away? Well let's just say I gathered these discs by making a bad job of a certain cut-away.

lol- that lock is so shady down from the bright-colored font and cheesy spiel to the typo at the beginning (simular). The sad thing is I might consider buying it just to play with it.
