Actually I meant Pic (PICTURE) but, I was looking at my picks (Lockpicks) while typing that what got typed....like I said I was in a hurry.

Carefull there jason13, I can just as well pick out your typos....but there is not enough bandwidth.

On another note: Thanks, took me a little while to find some things around the house to use and, spent a while on the lathe to modify an enternal part to hold the spinner.

BTW, used it for a neighbors lock today, he left his keys at the office, so I picked it (in the lock position) which gave me a reason to use it.

I pulled it out oh my bag and he said, "What the heck is that a lock syringe? (<--Spelling?) or for better words a needle the doctor would use to take blood.

No I said, then explained what it was and how i would use it, he was impressed.

Levitation, have you seen that one where you simply stand on tip toe with one foot? from behind if done properly it looks quite good.

They were filming a magic show in the streets of amsterdam a few eeks ago,

Its a cool effect but needs alot of practise to make it look really good Of course like any magic trick but this takes ALOT OF PRACITSE to make it look real.

Wrong. If people wanted you out of here, you would be gone long now. It's just that you're constantly bouncing along the borderlines of what is acceptable on here, and sometime well over it, so this is where you get a educative slap.

This attempt of teaching you behavior is actually a sign of acceptance. It takes nerves and time to educate someone, it would be faster to just delete the offender.

That said, what's happening is completely normal. Quite some of the people on here are old enough to be your father. But they are taking up with your stuff because they prolly can well remember the way they were in your age. And they are maybe putting up with it, because they see a god amount of enthusiasm and talent. I, for certain, would not have found the patience and frustration-tolerance to pick an R70 in your age.

when you have a diamond tip in a contorted keyway, you can also get some action by twisting the pick a bit, (no, not to the point of bending it) so that as it lays over a bit diagonal, then its returned to verticle, its lifting the pin as it turns up. This is working well with the american padlocks I have been fooling around with lately.

Why do noobs keep asking for peope to pm them with how toos?

They are already on site just look for them with the search,

If they are not there why not get the answers in the forum so everyone else can see them and lessen confusion in the future,

Use the search button and look for 'raking' 'how to and rake' etc and you will get what you want,

If you look through the last few pages of the introduce yourself thread i explained how to do it to a couple of ladies and they reported back a few hours later that they had indeed opened the house (and probably burgled it

)

Hmmm... They measure the gap on your spark plug, and are basicaly sheets of metal cut to different thicknesses. Many members of this site have made some really nice sets of picks using this material, and it would appear to be pretty durable.

You can see that some of the pick shape is already there, and needs less work than a hacksaw blade.

You will need to buy several packs of these, since there will be a few that are too thin to make picks from.
