Southord doesn't deliver to Canada?

Postby lil_hacker » 19 Mar 2004 18:20

i'm reading that Southord doesn't deliver to Canada but there's a payment option that allows you to select Canada... I want to buy from there because Lockpickshop only sells sets and not seperate pieces.

They suspended delivery there not too long ago. Maybe they left Canada on the list in case they do ship there again. This is what they say:

"Canada - Due to outrageous Canadian Duties, we are suspending shipping to Canada"

This is incorrect! Lockpickshop DOES sell individual picks and tension wrenches. Go to where it says "Catalog" and look down to the 7th item which reads "Build Your Own Toolkit". Here you'll find everything you need to get started. Also, you can go to www.lockpicks.com and purchase there. I have ordered from both sites and found Lockpickshop to ship the quickest.

Hope this helps.

I live in Ontario so when I ordered from Lockpickshop, it took exactly 7 business days.

They do? Wow! Maybe they should change their statement that reads "Canada - Due to outrageous Canadian Duties, we are suspending shipping to Canada". You can see this on http://www.southord.com/about.htm listed under the shipping heading.

If they have indeed changed their policy, this is good since it'll give us Canadians another store to purchase from. :D

Well...I placed an order from SouthOrd and everything seems to have gone through since I received a confirmation e-mail of the order. They said they may need to contact me for more information which is fine. I really hope it goes through as I've broke down and ordered the JPXS-6 JACKKNIFE LOCK PICK SET. I couldn't help it...I just had too! The regular price is $37.95 but I got it for $24.95 b/c of some slight blemish marks on it. They have more items at discounted prices on their SoutOrd Outlet link.
