Maybe the fact that it s a pad lock with a spring who take back the lock in the initial position make it more difficult to pick ?

It maybe makes me use to much tension...

I cant wait for having a "normal" training lock to use the beginners exercises, pin by pin...

Try this, put the key in the padlock without the keyring (it could become an abstruction or be in the way), and slide your tension wrench through the keyhole of the key and press till the lock opens.

Now, without the key, duplicate the amount of tension (In some cases less is more) needed to open the lock...it may take some practice but once you get it you will be joyed.
