double sided hook/half diamond

has anyone ever tried (duh they probably have) using a homemade pick like this one:

it works on one side as a half diamond, and on the other a short hook. i find it to be rather effective on many locks, due to if i cant get it with one side, flip, and i have a totally different pick. all in one.
ps- thats about as small as i cared to make the pic, sorry. after all it is 1:30 in the morn.

I use the SO ones that have 2 or 3 peaks/valleys, i use them for single pin picking even though they are rakes, i find them very good,
