i was looking a finger nail clippers and thought it would make a goo handle for a pick if i could get the rivet or whatever is there out.
heres a pic:

the rivet holds the thing that you get stuff from underneath your nails with how do you get it out?
i did some quick photoshopping and this is it finished:

It might work, but the steel is probably rubbish.

You would need to drill out the rivet and replace it afterwards if you wanted to swap the file for a proper head.

you could take a dremel and grind down one side of the rivet so you can pull the rest of the rivet with the nail file out from the other side.

If the clippers are long enough why not just file the clippers down to the desired pick?

Can you actually show us a picture of what you want to do and not just a picture of some nail clippers that im sure we all know look like,

Show us this 'rivet' the only thing i can see on that pic is somthing that looks like a pin and not a rivet,

Rivets are usually drilled out by the way so NKT was right if indeed it is a rivet but as skill and tooling wil surly be lacking a grinder of somesort is likely the better option but we need to actually see what you want to do,
