When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

That's a fairly simple device, if you can attach a cicular tension tool to a pick gun with a bump key in place of the pin you've got it.

CIA tension Wrench

Postby ysr50speed » 12 Jun 2006 20:13

I like the one handed one where its attached to the pick. Seems like it would be pretty hard.

Sounds like the Swiss Army of Lockpicks. But you forgot the drill bit/corkscrew attachment.

Fishing line.
The Barrel of a bic pen (or small piece)
Some crazy glue!!

Glue the Barrel of the pen somewhere on the same side as you want the lock to open.

Glue one end of the Fishing line to the lock cylinder thread it through the barrel then pull on it . Auto Tension wrench.

To get fancy with this you can add wind chimes or lures to the fishing line and get as fancy as you want with it.

LOL this does actually work if you use the right glue.
one that doesn't melt the fishing line.
I actually used this once to get past a pickgaurd on a lock. I didn't use the barrel of the pen but a small pice of the plastic tube where the ink is.
