some times i wish every thing was open to the public. i have so many questions i want to learn every thing about auto locks, bypass every thing
and house locks yea i want to no but its not on top of my list. some days I'm very frustrated but i totally 100% respect why i cant get in. even thow on the other thread i was saying bumping is picking buy definition. i really don't think it should be out there. how long do you think it would take me to surf this site and have everything i need. i have a link to buy them i have a guide to make them, and tons of suggestions on what to use as a hammer if i don't have 25 bucks. if i had this info when i was 15 i don't no how my life would of turned out. my judgment was not very good them i thought i new it all and had life all figured out. i have allot of mixed feeling some times about if this site should exist in the public. i think you should have to send in your police report and photo id to get in. don't get me wrong i love this place and knowledge should be untenable by anyone who seeks it. crime rate is high everywhere and all crooks or kids with bad judgment are not dumb. I'm kinda hesitant to post this.

Ok first off i think the pdf on bump keys should be re edited and stickied OR the tut on Lp101 should have the pics upped. the pdf does tell you abit more on how they work which is what alot of people would like to know-not just how to make them.
Secondly; if criminals did register on this site they would a) have to learn the art off lockpicking or b)buy a lockpick gun/electrick pick.
for a criminal a brick is less effort and costly.
Personally i am dying to get into the auto section but i have to wait another 2 months. my theory on the advanced section is that if a criminal was to log onto lp101 and have all the information at thier fingertips on how to get into a car or high security lock - they would be on top of the world.
The same princible applies with buying a gun - you must wait a couple days until you get it. why? because at the time you think a gun is the best option to do watever and then after a couple days you straighten up and think stright.
If your really dedicated (as i am) on learning about lockpicking and want to get into the advanced section - put in the hard yards.

it really don't bug me that much it was just an opinion i was homeless for a while i would of used the skills to eat.
as for crooks i no 3 prison guards that are real good friends and i didn't meet them in prison lol. but the cons are on the web now sober and nothing better to do. they searched a cell and found every guards house address social security number and allot more was being planed. so don't think some crack head wont sit and learn.

I think wanting to learn is fine.. Infact I've always been into security, whether it was security from locks, computer networks, etc. So I've always wanted to learn as much as possible. However, one thing i noticed about lockpicking and the like is the information isn't as readily as avaialble, and for good reason. It took me a lot of time searching for info and researching to get to where i am. (not that Im any good) but I think even though there may not be info readily available for you, i think with a bit of extra patience and determiniation you will find the info you need.

Why does everyone think the advanced forums will teach you to effortlesly open any lock and fast, i belong and its great to see pictures of high security locks and pciks.
The point your all missing is say a falle medeco decoder is 5000$ alone and most are stickly gov. issue.
Now if you have suck a problem with a bump key sticky, make your own seriously, or just simply watch the tool video on bumping. THere nothing special i made one it worked and it sits in my box of lock stuff.
For a trained locksmith this is used to quickly get a customer in hence he gets paid.
Pickign locks if more enjoyable and is what this forum is about. All these little posts of OOOOOOOooo well picks destory locks.. yes if your a noob or beginner, once oyur good they don't.

I don't remember seeing anything special about bumping in the advanced forum TBH.
The more you whinge about not getting into the advanced forum, the longer it takes. Consider the workload that db and Varjeal have in front of them, with all these n00b PMs that demand immediate access to the advanced forum because they have 1337 skillz... Doing this will probably make the admin groan, and add your name to the list of people who will never get access.

I'm personally not in the advanced forums, nor do I feel that I will have the qualifications to ever be in it, since I'm a casual poster and I do this just as a causal hobby. However, IMO and those in the advanced forum can correct me if they please, I feel that w/o experience knowledge is nothing, just because a bunch of guys wrote an article about bypassing car security doesn't neccessarily mean you'd be capable of doing it, you might have to work on it for months or years to get good at it. I think if you're a crook, you still break into things whether you knew how to bypass or not. If a crook wants to break into a car and doesnt know how to pick it, he'd probably just literally break into your car. Car alarms go off allll the time in my neighborhood and people just dont care. So the whole thing about a crook going into advancedforum being on top of the world, I think is invalid. Anyways thats my two cents.

I hear you about car alarms, i sold mine , it sjust it always goes off so you never know whne its real.
But true most of the advaced forums is a fun read, but i have alot of studieing to do beforei understand the lcoks. And illsuion is on to, Just learn and study the open forums. I took me what? 800 sum posts before i was accepted? Some more than me some less.
By the way a little hint, when you apply the mods will check your posts, if there lol's haha!!!!!!!'s, OMG like i totally agree like like like, then they toss you.
Quality not quantity, wiret good things and read alot, you'll find that on you way there you've learned alot.
Besides if your worried about a bump key.. well you prorobly would'nt understand most in the information in the advaced forums.
So do what the forums for. Read, learn, share, advance

Well being a newbie I have no idea whats in closed sections, but I can tell you this for a fact, 99% of car thieves do NOT pick locks, takes to long. I won't reveal how they do it because I don't want to get banned, but it takes like 10 seconds tops any car! Even a 12 year old can do it if they have this tool. So why on earth would a thief want to learn how to pick a car lock when all they need is a simple tool they could even steal the tool too, and get in any car they want. I'm interested in picking car locks because it does not damage the car! If I was interested in stealing cars (i'm not), or whats in the cars I would be using the easier and faster method
So why all the secrecy on car picks?

so why all the secrecy on car picks?
well, first, i think we all know about a slim jim whether or not its advanced. nuff said, ive known bout them since i was like 8.
second. most of the people that start here, they start for the first time, as in they have little or no knowledge of picking (i was) and so if by reading posts and a paper by a few different internet celebs they can learn to pick most all deadbolts rather quickly, then learning something more advanced (such as autos) is just ther next logical step. (of course after the proper reqs, im not arguing for sooner advanced access)
so if right now i was to start learning autos, i think i would have a decent knowledge of the basics of it after only a week or so.
and plus...the book "easy pickings" that comes with just about all southord orders, touches on the subject of autos- i was enthralled. however i think i can wait, knowledge of such things has no use to me right now. perhaps later, but not right now.

10 seconds on the new Renaut sidebar lock?
If you mean the mecs then deadlocking stops interior attacks, and protection around the linkage stops down-the-side attacks - Now you are in trouble and your 10 sec limit has been breached.
Seriously though, it's not cool to go "nah nah nah nah, I know something, but I won't tell you"
I'll tell you what. Since I am in the advanced forum, I challenge you to PM me your proposed technique and I'll know for sure if you lying - the rules of this forum will not be breached, and you will get in no trouble.
I want to know what you had in mind, please drop me a PM.
