Any one that ownes a 2in1 mortice pick??? HELP!

Hi all im new here so dont know if this has been asked before or not so here go's.....
Q: Is it possible to convert a rimmer brothers overlifting mortice pick to a 2in1 mortice?
I have a 6and 7 gauge, L/H and R/H in both gauges.
I have an engineer friend who is more than capable to make the changes if it is possible to do so.
The reason i whant to do this is i think the 2in1 is more versatile than the over lifters and i would use them more than i have done the overs.

You really should just buy the 2 in 1's to be honest as the overlifters are very good tools,

To modify them just make the bit bit the same size as the small bit,
