yes i cant belive i bought one but i did i got a kwikset maximum security deadbolt from home depot. it advertised on the box 5 pin security system
resist picking attacks. does that sound like security pins? i get it home and open it up. theres no security pin's in it at all. i know it didnt say security pins but thats what i thought it ment. so i'm looking at it trying to figure out what it has to stop picking. the only thing i see is a extra row of pin holes in the plug. while holding the plug with the key in it and the bottom pins in, the extra row of holes are on the right hand side at about 1 O'Clock. is that the pick resistance if you pick it backwards the top pins get stuck in them. in side the cylinder theres nothing extra. so is that it if you pick it the wrong way it gets stuck. if i got it right is this common. i'm going to take it back to home depot soon. i'll tell them my dad fliped out when i gave him that peace of shi** so im bringing it back. or should i tell the truth.
should i get the schlage that was siting next to it. they both said the same thing on the box above grade two locks and pick resistant. will the schlage have security pins?
