Does anyone know how to get hold of a quality lock identification book to carry from job to job?

Hmm, maybe the Bible?(meaning Locks, Safes and security). ALthough it is really bulky.

Are you a locksmith?

i agree with shrub, i bought pinky's cd,and apart from excellent lock id pics, the rest of the cd is invaluable to any locksmith. it covers so much, it's without doubt money well spent.

lock id book

I don't think there is a lock ID book, but it would be a good project to have the lp101 site work on. For those who can take digital photos and list the information. categories would be padlocks, kik, deadbolts, mortise/lever and special applications.
