hi guys, i am new to the forum and also new to lockpicking. i just wanted to introduce myself and also say that i have successfully picked two locks(its a start). anyways, i just wanted to tell everyone out there to read digital_blue's exercise <http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?t=10677> if u haven't already. this has been the most helpful thing so far. any n00bs just starting out must read db's guide. thanks digital blue, you have really expanded on my possibilites of lockpicking!

**caugh caugh(suckup)caugh caugh** JK lol  nice work on opening your first locks, you can go to the hardware store or something and pick up a few deadbolts or some padlocks to practice on too, get about 1 or 2 that say "pick resistant pins" too, these will be a little bit more challenging, but its better to practice on. It's ok guys, i have a really bad attention sp-wow look, a beach!

seriously, im not sucking up because i tried to pick locks just by reading the MIT guide but i couldn't actually "pick" the lock, i would just get lucky and it would open. then, i read db's guide and i realized how to actually pick locks by feeling which pin binds. the MIT guide doesn't really teach you that.

I'm sure you do n2oah, but most people don't have the back flexibility to get their head that far up.... um.. never mind. Forget I said anything...
