Looking for a local club

Postby thinkingclown » 29 Aug 2006 6:28

Howdy,
I'm a new member of Lock Picking 101 & was looking for a Sydney local club.
I can find mention of one, but no address or regular meetups? It did mention you though. Does one exist?

I've tinkered with lock picking before, using the mit guide & made some picks out of stainless steel bike spokes. Didn't have much luck, but it was fun. I had a grand idea of being able to carry around a pouch of tools to get into my house, start my car, get into work. Nothing illegal, but just able to go where I needed, without keys. I would like to meet like minded dudes to hone my lack of skills.

I'm a bit nervous going into a locksmith and asking about it, as I might be perceived in an unsavoury light. I'd like to get hold of some picks, but think you have to be a licensed locksmith. Is this true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

where abouts in Bellvue Hill ausbump? near cranbook school?

And clown,i wouldn't go to a locksmith and talk about picking, especially in our region,IT IS ILLEGAL.

That is the bottom line for public use of "criminal instruments"

But nobody really cares,in fact a few people in sydney have southord sets.
