The $75 Locksmith Course What do you think

The American Security Academy

http://www.asalocksmith.com/books_on_cd.htm

This is a locksmith course for $75. There are 24 modules. To save on paper and keep it affordable it is delivered as 24 chapters in Win Word for Windows .

Its training material only, with no included tools or locks.

It seems to be a lot more comprehensive than some of those courses for $700.

If you look around the site you will see a lot of other training materials.

Book #2 Global Key Directory

Book #3 Global Key Identification

It depends on content, there could simply be a few paragraphs for each section,

It annoys me when auto and safe opening are offered in these courses as it belittles the actual skills those that do the work have,

i took a quick look-see
i don't like it for two reasons

1.....i didn't see anything about a certificate
.......or this course being recognized by anyone

2.....the shipping costs seem to be a tad too much

for someone who might be interested in this course
they could copy the table of contents and search/research

call your local locksmith distributer or go in person. they will tell you if they would accept that course as proof of your training.

Are you guys all that dense?! This man is obviously a professional that can install any lock with merely a Philip's head. This course will turn you into a master of the lock trade!sarcasm if you didn't notice
