Thanks, a depth guage is something i don't have right now but i will do some searching on it and where i can get one.

You can get key gauges lots of places but if you click the "Shop" button at the top of this page it'll take you to lockpickshop.com. Click on Catalog > Misc. Locksmithing Tools and scroll towards the bottom. There's a whole bunch...
Use the code LP101 and you get ~10% off if I remember correctly...
