You cant just ask us how to pick a lock. The point of lockpicking is that it is a challenge and a wonderful hobby. You have to pick it on your own. Also, read all of the stickies which i know you didn't. Once you read of all of the stickies and browse the forums, you will know the answer to your question.

yes indeed that is the link you need to visit, it will tell you everything you need to know about this site. Also, please read the MIT guide and follow db's exercise before trying to pick because if you dont, you will most likely be picking and prodding.

We help everyone and anyone here as long as they are willing to take that help,
Other than the info youve been pointed to i will just say this to you, a lock doesnt have a set pin you should pick first it depends on how the lock is made which pin you try to set first, read up and youll understand in no time

ive been reading and i understand now that the pins inside the lock must be made so that the lock can turn , and to this you must make the pins go at the
right height so that it allows the gap between the turning bit and the lock outside bit..
so i picked the first spring and it had this relief feeling
then i started to pick the second and the first come back down .. ?

Youve not understood the princible,
A lock can bind in any order, if your picking a pin and then another unsets youve picked them in the wrong order,
Put some tension on the lock, start to lift the pins individually, if none stay up put a bit more tension on, if more than one stays up let off some tension,
You need to get to the point where only one pin stays up, that is the right tension,
Once youve found that pin that stays up when al the others dont keep lifting it until you feel a sort of step and the plug turns slightly, this is most probable tht the pin is set, time to try all the other pins to find the next pin to set,
You do not increase tension when youve set the first pin, the tension once right will stay that way,
It will be better if you strip the lock and make it into a 2 pin lock to begin with,

Sorry i dont understand your question?
Click the pickture on my posts, it will direct you to a page with lots of links, read the one that is 'the begineers lockpicking exorcise by digital blue' that should tell you a bit better.
Have a look for Illusions repinning guide, that will tell you how to get your lock down to 2 sets of pins which will make it a bit easier,
