Assa padlock vs. lockpicking

Hi all..
I reasonly ran over some (locked) assa padlocks, looking like this:

What would be the best method of lockpicking to open them?
are they especially hard to pick, cauce i have been trying for a week now..

ASSA make very good quality locks, and yes they are difficult to pick. ASSA are generally regarded as a high security lock and it is prohibited to discuss the techniques to pick them in the public forum. They are definately not a beginners lock.

looks like the locks they had on the money box at the car wash at when washing my car for the show... its a compulsive habbit, it has to be washed.

Not calling oyu a criminal.. jsut saying that thats where i reconized it from, i would have taken a closer look but i had other stuff to worry about.. car shows do it to you

The picture shows an interchangable core padlock - the cylinder that's in it could be from any number of manufacturers, some with more challenging productst than others. If it they are ASSA cylinder though, you're out of luck. If you don't have keys to them (which seems to be implied) because you don't own them then you should stay well away from them and get your own locks.

well i thought that but didn't want to jump to conclusion, as when i was spring cleaning i stummbled across all our old door locks, and some pad locks from our bungalo..RIP(stupid burecratic township) anywho... i took it as he might have meant around the house.

So buddy For more help, if you could specify where you came across this lock, was it spring cleaning, an old junk box? If so sorry for my critical thinking, also please post a picture of the lock itself, showing the lock body, and also the key way.

If these are shown i would gladly help, rember no links to locks it must be your lock in your posession, and if you can;t get a camera borrow one from a family member or friend.

Other than that your out of luck and this thread will be locked.
