A good majority of the European locks have this style of restrictive warding (i.e., as compared to the standard North American keyways). A set of "slimline" picks would get you started, were you to purchase one of these locks. The keyways present a considerably greater challenge to manipulation than your standard Weiser: I made a point of picking up a couple of locks on my last trip to Europe... they have been quite helpful in improving my technique! As a side-note, I wouldn't try picking the locks at your office, unless you happen to be a partner at your Law Firm (and you very well may be).

And I realize this is somewhat pedantic... but the radio engineer in me feels obliged to comment: your other locks may be controlled by RF, but not RFI (Radio Frequency Interference).

By no means would i dare to pick these locks
I'm a mailboy/office services, far from a partner
I simply was interested in the lock's design
And wondering if these locks were inexpensive enough to buy one for myself as practice.
And yes it was RFID , we carry around key cards which i know are not magnetic(dont ask).

thanks ya'll

Among criminals, perhaps.

I live in holland, and have been able to overcome wards like this.
With regular (read: non slimline) SO picks.

It's just something you need to learn, manouvering regular picks in a more confined space, but i have done it from the beginning.

It might just be my two cents, but practice makes perfect, in this too.

Yours,

Jordy
