Chubb 110 Pin & Cam

When decoding the 110 i sometimes get to the point where non of the pins are binding on the levers but the lock does not open. I asume one or some of the levers are in false gates. Can anyone tell me how i can define which levers are causing the problem? Cheers

Sounds to me like an easy process of elimation that could be solved by simply moving down one pin size on your decoder each position until you find the problem lever. By doing this the levers that are in the proper position already will bind so you will go back to the original pin you had installed previously. Do this on pin at a time and you should in theory find the lever or levers that are causing problems.

This is only my idea and others may chime in with a better method as I am from the US and do not deal with these locks at all.

Its practise and you will soon feel the correct gate as opposed to a false set,

The 110 kit is quite hard to get right at first but with practise you soon get there,

A false set doesnt move as much,
