Okay i Contacted Southern Specialties , and the word is that they might be able to turn my one pick idea into what's the word... comercial quality.
It's going to be one pick, and the price will be just to get my money back as i really just want people to try my design's.
I am posting this here to get feedback if anyone would be interested.
The pick being made will have a metal handle, with the ripple design.
And the pick itself is going to be this design.
Thanks to any replies, It might be a while, but i would just to see if theres interest in this.
Thankyou,
Andy

The Navigator set has a hook very similar to that I believe, but it is a good idea even if it is not original.

Your user name is at its most funnyist now lol
Go for it, theres no reason why not, im sure they will set the price or do you mean they will simply make it for you and you sell it?
I would have one if only for the sake of having one

Well i just gave them my idea and picture and said run with it.
I mean, its nothing new, but i did work hard on the design to alter it to be superior that lock masters design.. is it better, well in my eyes it is.
Hopefully the descide to sell it, i want no profit from it, if they maek me some to sell heck i will take the money.
But really it would be a great sence of accomplishment to see my idea being sold. I mean its jsut a pick I can whip up 3 diffrent varieations and new stuff every day.. if not for the time.
But still pretty neat stuff

I know right I said it before this name will haunt me, i can picture it at def con, AND THE WINNER IS!!!!!!!!! LOCKNEWBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... as the roar of laugher elevates!
I would request to change it, if its possible.... but hey come how funny is it to see a person with the name newbie in it talking about some tricky stuff? Brings a tear to the eye, beer to the stomach... then back up from laughing so hard
LONG LIVE NEWBIE!!!.. and andy

hey andy, is this pick idea spawned off of the idea i gave to ya when you were sick or recovering form something a bit ago and you wanted a pick design to make? the one that looked like this:
cuz if it was...well...lets just say they are words for a PM instead of a public forum.
PM if ya have any questions as to my accusations. thanks!

Actually i did make this pick a while ago from a broken key extractor form SO.. the key extrator was bent and remade to anormal hook, then on the blank side just started creating and i made this.. finished it.. then hacked it again to put the valley in.
I seen your pick and how it resembled the one i made, but i made this one already, beacuse i liked the lockmasters pick.. something i never seen.
H/e i didn't copy you, and am not profitiering off of it.. if you read i said i gave them the pic and said do as you please, i only said about selling becuase if he chooses not to use it i will have him make me a bunch.. or a couple and jsut sell them for what it cost me.
I don't really know what the PM about accusations is.. but no i didn't copy you, as oyu will see there is only so much you can do to a hook to change it. As they all bear resemblence to another. As stated mine also looks like rays bogata varieation.. its really just little stuff thats all. Plus i really just sat with my dremel and had fun.. which is why i like making picks
There vary far fromt he best, but i like them becuase i created them... kinda like a couple with an ugly baby
Andy

sorry if my last post sounded so aggressive.
I understand, and no hard feelings but, like i said no profit.
As i actually recieved an email. I am going to ship a picture for him to make a die mold and see how things pan out. So really i'm not selling anything at all, H/e i am going to discuss putting lockpicking 101 on the handels if at all possible.
Kind of like a token of membership here i suppose, just a cool pick to have.. might even like it alot.
I am trying to have him have an area for LP101 members or create a collection based on epople thoughts or prefence's, so if someone asks.. so dude! whats the best set to buy? we can say umm the LP101 pickset!
Thanks for the support. Guys keep posting if you want one. I would love to see a LP101 pick made.. just something neet
