$30 for Pocket Pickset,Tublar Pick,Warded Pickset, and vids?

I found a link the other day searching for "warded lock picks". It's the number one froogle hit for that phrase (no quotes)

Has anyone seen this link? What do you folks make of it? Seems to me like it's too good to be true. A tubular lock pick goes for $70 usually. What's the deal? I don't suppose anyone has actually bought this.

Well dont be mislead, ill tell you what i read when i saw that,

We have a bit of weling rod we are calling a tubular pick and weve patented it or at least saying we have,

We also ave a warded pick which is basically the tubular pick with a bend on the end,

We will add thses to some useless bits of a jacknife set that are far too small to hold properly but otherwise copied from SO pick ends,

To add to this we will throw in a cd that tells you a lot less than 5 mins on LP101 will,

My advice?

Save your money or at least ask for a picture of the actual tols and then get back to us with the picture, i suggest they havent put a picture of the set up for a reason :wink:

Although there marketing gimick's reach alot of people and there tools are an abombination...

I have to give them credit for trying.. i still pitty those locks they open for demonstration.. the pin dust... god the pin dust!!

Notice how on some of those ads, they show a small video clip of them picking a lock. Well I have, and the video never gets close enough to show any pins in the lock...LoL, which leads me to believe there are prolly a few pins if any at all in them.

IMO it's all hipe.

Def. i mad a review saying thre a waste of time but it got locked.

Personally, i will not bash them now though, becuase there just trying to make a buisness and sell there tools. I have respect for them, i would love to sell my tools comercially but i just don't have the resources yet.

SO yes the products are crap and not worth the money, but there trying, and thats the best anyone could ask.

Has any one actually reviewed the product and cd or just airing opinions based on speculation? A 45 minute interactive cd sounds interesting to me. As a Internet marketer I am aware of the crapola out there by the tons, but am also aware of the few gems out there too. Buying decisions should be based on facts not speculation

This could be crap or it could be a gem. Any one actually review it personally?

Besides for that price i would buy a pick set and a master lock and come on here.

Hmm, this seems like junk.

You might get all of those tools, but I bet theyre total crapola!

I mean like i said i am sure they can open locks.. its more the terminology if that makes sence.

Usually someone.. Mr. Falle for example will not tell you to take a ball pick and rake aggresivelly. I maybe wrong but theres no measurements on thickness, or even the type of steal used, spring stainless.

So really i didn't judge the site on the video's completely.. although i pity the locks. Theres no Spec's on what your buying.

Its like going to a car lot and the salesmen says well here we have a car.. yes its a car i kid you not! Comes with for wheels and an engine. No specs. on MPG, HP. You get my drift

I understand where your coming from, Internet marketing is a crazy business. Some are better then others. It's often hard to tell what your getting! Since I enjoy doing reviews I don't mind at all. Unfortunately I usually do not have to pay for the products I review

But $30 won't break me this one time and I really am interested in it any way. Will give me some thing to post about on my web page too.

There is indeed a wealth of information here on LP101! But for new comers it can be really hard putting it all together! It's scattered every where! And the search feature is not the strongest asset of LP101

So any CD's, or books, that can provide vital information in a well organized way may be of value to some people as a time saver.

Also, as a bonus, my review can be viewed as brownie points to score better by way of my contributions to LP101 and ultimately get in to the Advanced Forums

I'd say it was a good deal. Anything that SPAM or wheels will eventually give you trouble.
